Hampshire County Council (HCC)
HCC cover the whole of Hampshire and provides the majority of public services for our area.
They are responsible for: education, highways, transport planning, passenger transport, social care, libraries, waste disposal and strategic planning. The link to HCC website is here.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (BDC)
BDC are responsible for housing, leisure and recreation, environmental health, waste collection, planning applications and local taxation collections. The link to BDC website is here.
East Woodhay Parish Council (EWPC)
We are within the Parish of of East Woodhay. EWPC meet monthly, normally in East Woodhay Village Hall (RG20 0AR). For dates see the EWPC website here and click on the Parish Council Meeting tab.
EWPC are responsible for smaller local services including recreation grounds, village halls, war memorials, litter warden, the planning documents (Neighbourhood Plan, Parish Plan, Parish Design Statement), spend of community monies resulting from building works in the area.
